中央电视台电影频道（频道呼号：CCTV6电影）是以宣传电影、培养电影观众、传播影视文化为宗旨的专业频道，于1996年1月1日正式开播。由中华人民共和国国家新闻出版广电总局的直属机构“电影卫星频道节目制作中心”制作、运营和播出，使用中国中央电视台的品牌及标志，故也被称为“中央电视台电影频道”。 2012年9月28日，广电总局批准该频道进行高标清同播；同年11月26日，该频道的节目播出信号源由中央电视台切换至电影频道节目中心。2015年5月8日，CCTV-6的镜面、台标微调为16:9形式。
