中央电视台财经频道（频道呼号：CCTV-2财经）是以财经资讯节目为核心、生活服务节目为辅助的电视频道，是中央电视台第二套节目，于1973年5月1日开播。 1987年，CCTV-2正式开始向全国播出。2000年，CCTV-2由以经济为主的综合频道改为“经济·生活·服务频道” 。 2003年，CCTV-2由经济·生活·服务频道改为经济频道。2009年，CCTV-2由经济频道更名为财经频道。 2014年，CCTV-2（高清）通过中星6A上星播出，开始高、标清同播。2015年，CCTV-2开始在央视总部大楼正式播出。
