中央电视台纪录频道（频道呼号：CCTV-9 纪录【中文版】、CCTV-9 Documentary【英文版】）是以播出纪录片为主的专业频道，开播于2011年1月1日，分为CCTV-9中文版和CCTV-9英文版。 2011年9月，CCTV-9中文版增加首播时段、改变编排策略、完善频道包装。2013年，CCTV-9中文版在每周日推出了一档90分钟的《纪录电影》节目 。2014年，在第19届中国电视纪录片颁奖活动中，央视纪录频道获得“最具国际影响力频道”称号。2015年，CCTV-9纪录英文高清频道开始在香港通过香港电台地面无线33频道转播。
