沈阳广播电视台成立于2010年6月，由沈阳人民广播电台和沈阳电视台合并组建。拥有三个电视频道：新闻频道、经济频道和公共频道，其中沈阳经济频道和公共频道参与辽宁广播电视台战略合作。
《直播生活》栏目是辽沈地区乃至全国最早开办的民生新闻栏目，是全国最具民生影响力、最具投资价值的栏目，是沈阳经济频道的黄金品牌栏目。传递最新鲜的城市新闻，最实用的生活资讯，最贴心的民生服务，最真实的民情，赢得了广大百姓的关注。
《直播生活早高峰》是沈阳电视台经济频道早间时段倾力打造的一档新闻资讯类节目，采用男女对播的播报方式，对当天最具有时效性、服务性的新闻资讯有机整合后以轻松幽默的语境播报出来，栏目2014年创办至今收视率已跃居沈阳市地面同时段前三。
《不试不知道》节目内容涵盖大量日常的生活科普知识，揭示与人们生活、健康、安全等现象的原理，突出亲身体验，动手尝试的过程，同时还增加了在实验室等地进行的科学实验，让观众了解生活常识，学到生活小巧门，走出生活误区。
为了传承、发展、弘扬东北地区土生土长的二人转艺术，沈阳广播电视台于2007年重磅推出一档具有地域特色，自制大型综艺娱乐类节目《逗你乐翻天》。栏目自转型日播以来受到了广大观众朋友的关注和热爱，收视率在同时段一直名类前茅。
“美食真人秀”节目《天生吃货》于2014年春节推出，无论是在首播的深夜黄金时段，还是在重播的午间休闲时段。《天生吃货》都以独一无二的制作理念和一丝不苟的制作标准，成为辽沈电视餐桌上最诱人的味道。
《庄稼院》由沈阳电视台与沈阳市农村经济委员会联办，是一档以反映新农村建设成果、推广农业新技术、传播致富信息为主要内容的农村类专题栏目。栏目自2006年1月1日正式开播以来，赢得了浓厚的人气，受到了广大观众的欢迎。
