连云港电视台成立于1985年5月1日，现已成为苏北鲁南地区的区域性强势媒体。电视台共有职工160多人，其中高中级以上技术人员100余人，全台设行政、宣传、技术、创收和三产共十五个部门。
2010年，连云港电视台改版启用了新台标，并根据新闻综合频道、公共频道、影视综艺频道的不同定位，分别建立了蓝色、橙黄、玫红三个特色鲜明的频道视觉识别系统。全台每天累计播出时间约50小时，每天自制节目播出时间将长达7个多小时。
