新安电视台始终以服务新安社会经济建设，服务百姓大众为己任，努力提高宣传质量和服务水平，为建设文明、富裕、生态、和谐新安贡献力量。先后创办了《新安县新闻》、《点播台》、《新农村》、《新闻视点》、《小城故事》等一批深受广大观众喜爱的名牌栏目和节目。
现有干部职工199人，拥有一支高素质的采、编、播队伍，编辑记者有70余人。现有各类摄像机20台，数字非线编辑线5套，线性编辑机3套，广播电台有2套音步工作站，满足不同类型的广播电视节目的采访和制作。设施完备的1008m2的演播大厅和200m2的综艺演播室适合举办各类演出活动。
两座电视发射塔分别位于海拔近700米和550米的郁山和云梦山之巅，信号覆盖半径达40公里，可覆盖周边县市。新安的有线电视网络覆盖全县11个乡镇、296个行政村和6个居委会，传输30多套丰富多彩的电视节目，现有5万多电视用户。广播电台发射塔海拔近400米，调频100.7兆赫，信号覆盖新安全境及洛阳、宜阳、义马、孟津、伊川等周边县市。
