剑阁县广播电视台成立于1996年1月，属全民所有制事业单位。内设总编室、新闻部、社教部、外宣部、广播节目部、广告部、技播部七个部门，现有职工20人。
截至2015年，开设有电视新闻综合频道和广播新闻综合频率，定位以综合性的时政新闻、专题节目为主，开办了《剑阁新闻》、《雄关党旗红》、《法治剑阁》、《政风行风面对面》、《剑门关讲坛》、《剑阁警方》、《魅力乡村行》、《民政之窗》、《移民攻坚》、《提案面对面》、《委员履职》等电视栏目和《乡村艺苑》、《文化田野》、《乡村大视野》、《致富大篷车》、《文艺欣赏》、《健康快车》等广播栏目。通过光纤有线传输至全县57个乡镇，549个村，节目覆盖68万人口。全台年采编新闻稿件2500 件，制作专题片50余部；在市台上稿500件以上，省台上稿30件以上；每年在省、市节目创优中获奖15件以上。
剑阁县广播电视台位于剑阁县县城所在地下寺镇沙溪坝。
