Introduction to 雅安雨城频道
1988年12年23日，首次呼号“雅安电视台”。试播期间，每晚7：30通过地区卫星电视地面站，用8频道在中央台新闻联播节目之后插播自办节目。1989年1月4日，地方性新闻节目《雅安新闻》开播。1994年6月10日，雅安电视台结束插播历史，单开频道播出节目。 1984年起，社会上兴起自建共用天线系统，1993年12月，雅安城区建成有线电视传输网。1993年起开始筹建有线电视台，1997年2月，地区行署批准成立雅安地区有线电视台。 2001年5月，原雅安电视台和有线电视台合并为新的雅安电视台，设置公共频道和综合频道。2003年6月，原局直属的微波站和地面卫星收转站也并入了雅安电视台。 2008年1月2日，雅安市委决定，以雅安电视台为基础成立雅安市人民广播电台，将雅安电视台更名为雅安市广播电视台，实行一块牌子，两个呼号。6月11日，国家广电总局批复，同意雅安电视台更名为雅安市广播电视台，增设广播业务，开办一套综合广播节目。2008年7月10日，经过紧张筹备，雅安人民广播电台开播，频率为调频87.9（FM87.9）
