东平综合频道是东平县融媒体中心旗下的核心电视端频道，其相关播出主体的关键时间节点与融媒体中心的组建紧密关联。1991年东平县广播电视局已有相关电视新闻业务开展，当时电视台刚成立且处于新闻从声到像的转型阶段。而该频道的规范化运营始于2019年11月8日东平县融媒体中心揭牌成立后，中心前身包含东平县广播电视台、东平县广播电视局，成立后将该综合频道纳入“十端一体”的融媒体矩阵，以有线和无线两种方式播出。
作为立足东平本地的电视综合频道，它聚焦县域内重大活动、民生动态、产业发展等内容，与融媒体中心的广播、东平手机台等平台协同，助力本地新闻宣传、政策解读与民生服务等工作的开展，是东平传递本地声音、展现县域风貌的重要传播载体。
