广德县广播电视台为县委、县政府直属事业单位，于2010年11月通过局台分设成立。承担宣传党的路线、方针、政策，传达政令，发布新闻、引导舆论、传播知识，提供娱乐、服务等工作。近年来，我台以科学发展观统领全局，踏实践行群众路线，紧紧围绕县委县政府中心工作，全面提升素质，不断创新发展理念、发展思路和发展举措，把握正确导向，以"务实、创新、高效"的工作态度，不断加快广电事业、产业发展，各项工作实现了快速发展，为广德和谐发展营造了良好的舆论氛围。
广德县广播电视台现有职工 人，平均年龄35岁，大专以上学历占90%，具有中级职称资格 人， 初级职称资格 人。设办公室、总编室、新闻中心、广播中心、技术管理中心、产业发展中心、招商办、广告中心等八个内部科室。人员配置合理，硬件设施齐全。采编播实现全面数字化，无线电视信号覆盖本县及周边苏、浙十几个县市区，调频广播覆盖全县，有线电视入户率达到60%。
广德县广播电视台围绕县委县政府的中心工作，加大节目采、编、播等策划力度，多渠道开辟新闻源，全面提升《广德新闻》质量。不断创新报道手法，活化报道形式，强化报道力度， 突出以主题报道为核心，做重做好新闻。
着力打造精品栏目。《记者观察》对招商引资、两区建设、文明创建以及民生工程进行深度报道。《小城故事》栏目讲述普通百姓的故事，记录身边的事情，拥有较高收视率。《文明广德》、《法制广德》、《关注地方税》、《广交视野》等专题栏目围绕县域经济发展、创建省级文明县城、建设新农村等县委、县政府中心工作创作出一大批贴近群众、贴近生活、贴近实际的节目，生动地展示了广德的新变化、新成就、新形象。
全力办好《县长热线》广播直播及广播新闻宣传，围绕县委、县政府中心工作，收受并解决群众反映问题，充分发挥了"替百姓解难、为政府分忧"的作用。
