邵阳电视台公共频道是一家由省、市、县三级联舍组成的主流媒体，由邵阳电视台公共频道、湖南公共频道邵阳时段区两个播出平台组成，通过有线和无线两种传播方式覆盖全市八县一市三区，收视人口近千万。
