频道以 “主流引领、贴近民生、服务大局” 为定位，聚焦靖江本地时政要闻、经济发展、民生实事和社会动态，打造了《靖江新闻》等核心栏目，同时推出《法在身边》《小靖说文明》等特色节目，涵盖时政播报、法治宣传、文明倡导等多元内容。节目通过固定时段首播与重播，并联动 “今靖江”“文明靖江” 等新媒体平台同步传播，构建起全方位、多渠道的新闻传播矩阵，成为靖江市民获取权威信息、了解城市发展的重要窗口，也为城市形象传播和社会治理提供了有力的媒体支撑。
