澳亚卫视有限公司是澳门特别行政区政府批给卫星电视运营准照的持牌公司。澳亚卫视中文台是澳亚卫视有限公司开设的卫星电视频道之一，于2004年3月15日正式开播，节目通过亚洲五号卫星、鑫诺一号卫星覆盖世界60多个国家和地区。澳亚卫视中文台的受众定位是中国内地、港、澳、台及东南亚华语地区，节目定位以新闻资讯、娱乐、强档影视剧为主的综合性频。是中国大陆地区少数几个获得落地权的境外媒体。
澳亚卫视中文台获得广总电局批准在中国大陆三星级以上酒店等落地的基础上，又进入了广东珠三角（八市）地区的千家万户，使内地观众及时了解澳门，了解世界。澳亚卫视是一个进入中国内地走向世界的电视媒体。2014年，广东电信南方新传媒IPTV把澳亚卫视作为“测试频道'播出频道号248
