曲麻莱县电视台的前身曲麻莱县广播电视站成立于 1982 年，2018 年 1 月正式开播并拥有规范台名与呼号，2021 年 3 月 30 日整合组建为曲麻莱县融媒体中心（广播电视台），作为一级预算单位隶属于曲麻莱县人民政府，内设办公室、财务室、新闻部、综合科等机构，现有财政供养人员 18 人。该台始终贯彻党委和政府的宣传方针，把握正确舆论导向，围绕县委、县政府中心工作开展新闻宣传与公益传播，负责自办节目的采编、制作和安全播出，推进传统媒体与新媒体融合发展，打造了 “大美曲麻莱” 等新媒体平台，推出藏汉双语天气预报等特色节目，信号覆盖全县五乡一镇，既服务本地各族群众的文化生活需求，也成为对外展示曲麻莱风貌的重要窗口。
