商都县电视台（现相关职能整合入商都县融媒体中心）成立于 1949 年 10 月 1 日，办公地址位于商都县人民政府西广电大楼，核心宗旨是落实上级部门决定，组织完成新闻录、编、播等工作，传播正能量并树立良好社会形象，重点对全县重要会议、重大活动进行报道，同时积极开展外宣工作，业务范围涵盖广播节目与电视节目等。2019 年 6 月 15 日商都县融媒体中心挂牌成立后，电视台相关职能与原商都报社、原县政府信息办部分职能合并，成为集多种宣传渠道于一体的新型综合服务平台的重要组成部分，持续为提升商都县知晓度、美誉度发挥作用。
