鄯善县电视台与鄯善县融媒体中心实行一个机构两块牌子，为鄯善县人民政府直属正科级事业单位，归口县委宣传部管理，其前身为鄯善县广播电视台、鄯善县人民广播站，于 2020 年 3 月 13 日正式整合成立，注册地址位于鄯善县新城路 109 号，地处鄯善县鄯善镇（人事局对面）。作为当地主流宣传阵地，电视台主要承担宣传党的创新理论、路线方针政策及党中央治疆方略的职责，围绕县委县政府中心工作，通过广播、电视、网络及 “两微一端” 等平台开展新闻宣传和重大报道活动，同时提供内参报道与舆情信息服务，组织创作生产群众喜闻乐见的广播电视和网络视听精品节目，推动媒体融合发展，守好意识形态阵地。电视台下设办公室、总编室、采编部等 7 个处室，业务涵盖广播电视节目制作播出、技术服务、广告运营等，以正确舆论导向服务区域社会稳定和长治久安，助力地方经济社会发展。
