2013年06月28日，焦作广播电影电视局正式更名为焦作广播电视台，作为新兴媒体的焦作广播电视网站，也正式更名为焦作网络电视。据介绍，焦作网络电视是以互联网、移动通信网等新兴信息网络为节目传播载体，融合网络特征与电视特征为一体的多媒体终端、立体化传播平台，是焦作广播电视台打造“全媒体航母”的重要组成部分。1984年9月6日建台。现有新闻综合、影视文体、生活、电视剧4个频道，其中一、二套节目无线发射，覆盖整个焦作辖区。开办有《焦作新闻》、《直播焦作》、《联播焦作》等 24个栏目，全天播出88个小时。全台职工150余人，副高级职称以上专业技术人员18人。有十多件作品获得省级以上好新闻奖，近20篇作品在国家新闻核心期刊发表。获全国广播电视节目技术质量金帆奖、全国技术维护先进台站荣誉称号。
