阿坝州广播电视台座落于被誉为“雪山草地”的阿坝藏族羌族自治州州府所在地马尔康。
阿坝州广播电视台于1995年创办，经过十多年的发展和不懈努力，广播电视节目覆盖全州13县，开办了藏汉《阿坝新闻联播》、《雪域》、《阿坝金盾》、《阿坝民声》、《故乡情》等十余个自办栏目，播出节目时间每天达到18小时，节目制作、播出终端全面实现数字化，已经成为阿坝州的重要媒体之一。
目前，全台已有正高2人，副高职称专业技术人才15名，中级专业技术人员24名。专业技术人才团结协作，才情勃发，深入基层、深入生活，创作出特色鲜明、风格迥异的广播电视节目精品。目前，全台已有上百部（条）广播电视新闻、栏目、专题、纪录片在全国、全省获得大奖。阿坝州广播电视***立导演、拍摄、制作的电视纪录片《草困》获得2012年四川电视台国际熊猫节电视纪录片自然环境类入围奖，成为四川省第一家获此殊荣的少数民族地区电视台。电视纪录片《色尔古》获得2003年第十届中国纪录片学术奖提名奖。电视纪录片《神秘的桃坪古堡》获得全国少数民族题材电视类骏马奖，电视新闻《从悲壮走向豪迈》、《阿坝新闻联播》编排、电视专题《悔恨》、电视特写《羌族群众：杀年猪 过新年》等多个广播电视节目分获四川省广播电视节目评比优秀、提名奖。
