天津市河西区电视台（现依托天津市河西区融媒体中心运营）是立足河西、服务天津的主流媒体机构，承载着区域新闻传播、文化传承与民生服务的重要使命。
### 发展历程
其前身可追溯至1993年1月1日开播的河西区有线电视台，作为天津市内率先发展的有线电视试点，开播初期便以电缆传输方式为23万户河西家庭带来丰富荧屏内容。2017年9月，标清制播系统升级为高清全媒体融合制播系统，“河西有线”正式更名为“河西频道”，开启全媒体转型之路。2019年4月，河西区融媒体中心组建成立，整合原有线电视台、新闻中心等资源，迈入媒体深度融合发展新阶段。
### 核心职能与传播矩阵
- 聚焦主流宣传，制作《河西新闻》等核心节目，及时传递党中央决策部署及市、区委政府工作安排，强化舆论引导。
- 深耕本土内容，推出专题报道、民生栏目及地方文化节目，挖掘天津相声、评剧等传统文化资源，讲述河西故事。
