郎溪新闻频道是郎溪县融媒体中心核心传播载体，作为县政府直属正科级事业单位郎溪县融媒体中心（加挂县广播电视台牌子）旗下的主流电视传播平台，承载着县域新闻宣传、政策解读、民生服务与文化传播的核心使命，是郎溪本地最具权威性和影响力的主流舆论阵地。
频道的发展轨迹与县域媒体融合进程深度绑定。其前身可追溯至原郎溪县广播电视台新闻类传播平台，2018年11月郎溪县融媒体中心正式挂牌成立后，通过整合原广播、电视、纸媒等多元资源，频道升级为融媒体传播体系的重要组成部分。在2019年县域媒体资源重组中，频道成为全县唯一保留的电视频道，形成"融媒体统筹、新媒体首发、全媒体跟进"传播模式的关键一环，2020年8月境内模拟电视信号关停后，依托无线地面数字电视等技术持续稳定播出。
作为本地新闻传播的主渠道，频道以《郎溪新闻》为核心栏目，聚焦县委县政府中心工作，及时报道县域政治、经济、社会、文化等领域动态，同时深耕民生视角，捕捉基层鲜活故事。在重大主题宣传中，频道通过开设专题专栏、深度报道等形式，围绕脱贫攻坚、疫情防控、防汛抗洪等关键任务强化舆论引导，助力县域主流媒体引导力跻身全省前列。频道还传承地方文化基因，结合黄梅戏、花鼓戏等本土艺术形式打造特色内容，并通过"一次采集、多种生成、全媒传播"的生产流程，实现内容在电视端与"看郎溪"APP、"郎溪融媒"抖音号等多平台联动分发。
