澳大利亚天和电视台（RTV）成立于2010年10月，是坐落在澳大利亚经济文化中心 ——悉尼的第一家24小时播出的华语电视台。
作为一个综合性的视频媒体，天和电视台将通过先进的互联网IPTV技术，为澳洲及世界各地的华人及时准确地报道新闻时事，以及华人广泛关注的社会事件，提供优质、迅捷的商务及社会信息。同时，天和电视台为广大华人提供各种丰富的生活娱乐节目，设计今日澳洲的时尚生活消费、留学移民、养生休闲、娱乐星闻、文化交流等话题，以满足社会各界的不同需要，为侨居海外的华人生活锦上添花！
同时，天和电视台把弘扬华夏文明、推崇中华文化、宣扬民族艺术、丰富华人生活作 为电视台始终如一的发展宗旨，为宣传中国绚丽多彩的民族文化提供了绝佳平台。我台已与多家电视台进行深入合作，现在已和中国十多家省市电视台签署了合作协议。其中广东电视台国际频道和山东广播电视台已在我台落地试播。
天和电视台是在澳大利亚华人华侨的热切期盼下而成立的以普通话为主，其他方言为辅的华语电视台，具有巨大的文化传媒发展空间。
