全年由蒙古语汉语新闻，文化栏目及广告播出，自办节目比较丰富，有很强的制作和策划能力，是内蒙古自治区旗县级电视台中比较突出的电视台。电视台有完备的600平米演播室，虚拟演播室和数字化的新闻演播室，并包含有语音录制机房，配音机房，译制机房、和音乐剧录制机房及媒资管理中心，现有工作人员60人，额济纳旗电视台致力于提高当地人民群众的精神文化水平，宣传额济纳，展示额济纳风采，并联合全国各大媒体关注生态环保，呼吁文化保护和发展。
