湖南卫视，全称湖南广播电视台卫视频道，昵称芒果台，是湖南广播电视台拥有的一条以普通话广播，又以娱乐综艺为主的上星综合频道，为湖南广播电视台影响力最大的频道，也是中国大陆最重要的地方卫星电视频道之一。
湖南卫视于1997年1月1日正式通过亚洲2号和中星6B卫星传送节目信号，并更为现名，同时由原来的“芙蓉花”方形台标更改为现在的台标。此外，湖南卫视在收视率、品牌价值、营收等方面连续多年居中国省级卫星电视频道第一位。
