音乐电视网（Music Television，MTV），或称全球音乐电视台，是一个原本专门播放音乐视频，尤其是摇滚乐的有线电视网。MTV后来也播放观众对象锁定在青少年和青年上的许多不同型态的节目。MTV在1985年之后为维亚康姆集团所拥有。
MTV成立于1981年8月1日，为MTV电视网（MTV Networks）的营业项目之一，其资金来自于华纳音乐集团（Warner Communications）和美国运通公司（American Express）。它之后被维亚康姆（Viacom）公司买下，成为一个完全为其拥有的子公司。在MTV中可以看到音乐视频、年轻VJ、玩世不恭的台词、对特殊摇滚演唱会的推广、有关乐队的新闻与纪录片，这些都让MTV受到年轻观众的欢迎，并且成为推广新型摇滚乐以及摇滚乐手的领导者。有些认为自己是“真正的音乐家”的人，会将MTV视为被过度制造的无趣流行音乐。有些人认为MTV推动了流行文化。
