德宏电视台是边疆民族地区的一家地方电视台，1989年7月6日经国家广播电影电视部批准建台，1992年1月1日正式开播，电视台下设台办公室、总编室、新闻中心、社教中心、经济广告中心、技术制作部、民语部，现有新闻综合频道、公共频道两个频道，除汉语普通话节目外还用当地傣语、景颇语、景颇族载瓦语三种民族语言播出。播出的节目有新闻类节目《德宏新闻》、法制类节目《德宏警方》、娱乐类节目《风尚德宏》、民生类节目《第二视角》、民族文化类节目《孔雀之乡》、；引进节目有《国际专题电讯》及影视剧等。
